 | State of the Archive Door | To anyone working at the Field Archives, please do something about your front entrance.
I think there’s something wrong with the “special” polymer they used for the door. It attracts this sticky mystery gunk. It looks filthy. And you can SMELL it! Every time I walk by I have to hold my nose.
It needs to be cleaned up now, before we lock ourselves out of our own archives. SOON it won’t be able to open anymore.
I’ve been flagging this for months, but I’m being told to “focus on my assignments.” Why do we always wait until it’s a ten-alarm fire? Sometimes I understand why people defect from this program.
I'm starting to think 555 was right... | Notes | Garden |

 | Storage Instructions | Good morning, 418!
I won’t be there to supervise our inbound shipment after all, so please make sure that the infusions we’re getting from the candy processing facility are stored properly in SEALED containers.
Remember: this stuff may taste fantastic, but it also has properties that defy the laws of physics. Absolutely never attempt to sip the sour (management should send a memo)!
The processing team showed me what it does to a blocked drainpipe. You do not want it inside of you, believe me. You won’t gain superpowers. You’ll melt your insides.
Anyhow, let’s be very careful with the way we handle these volatile substances. If they help us accelerate tissue growth on those test mutators, it’ll be one step in the right direction.
We may want to put in a request for a sturdier test subject enclosure. What do you think? | Notes | O.G.R.R. Labs |

 | Tapped Out on Tully | Hey 418,
I followed your lead and picked up Wendell Tully’s file from the archives.
I’ve gone through the agricultural experiment notes from his backyard research. I listened to all his tapes, deciphered his chicken scratch, and I need a break. The guy is so arrogant! I want to reach through the cassette and box his ears. But yes, his hydroponic aquaculture microponic system could be very... fruitful research for us to expand on. We may be able to leverage it for our botanical enhancement research. I already have a few ideas we could try.
But something's been bothering me. Agricultural applications for miniaturization tech have been on our radar since day one and yet, we aren’t making any money out of it. Sounds like Tully hit the same roadblock. And if he couldn’t figure it out... Why do we think we can? He invented the SPAC.R for crying out loud.
I sometimes wonder if he intended to destroy Ominent with his inventions by making us waste all our time and money trying to monetize them, when every attempt has failed, continues to fail, is failing.

 | The Popping Point | Hi! This is 956, the new intern! I really don’t want to get in trouble, but I have a few questions.
If I get this right, we are getting close to figuring out the exact amount of sour we can inject into an insect without exploding it. Cool! But aren’t we creating a powerful new adversary for ourselves if we lose control of them (which we usually do)? So, I’m a little unclear why we’re doing this...?
It feels a little too late to ask, but it’s not hard to see how this could become a huge problem. Might just be me, though! What’s the use case for making insects even more powerful? They’re already so dangerous to us at this scale (and gross).
Oh well. Super Sour Insects were requested so Super Sour Insects shall exist! I just had to ask. | Notes | Garden |

 | Turning a New Leaf | Hello… sorry I’m reading the sheet here. I am NOT going to address this message to a string of numbers. I am going to call you... Pumpkin!
Pumpkin, I adore your research into hydroponics, and microponics, and H.A.M.S. I even know what most of those things are. But it will have to go on the back burner. I need your team to focus all your shrunken grey matter on using genetic research to juice up some of the critters wreaking havoc on our installations. Heck, at this scale, you can probably stitch DNA by hand!
Pumpkin seeds are a good snack, but let’s use this genetic research for something with a little more punch. Talk to Candyman from the super flavor project to see if you can work together. That would be great AND mandatory.
Love what you’re doing, keep it up! Sloane. | Notes | O.G.R.R. Labs |
