Adamant Mace

The first adamant mace was not, as you might expect, used for battle. Rather it was a rolling pin used by the ancient matriarch known only as The Crone – a name she chose for herself, thinking it quite funny.

Her baking skills were so dire, that whatever she produced had the consistency of iron and was more durable than steel. So, she required a tool strong enough to fight back against her sturdy pastries. She commissioned a rolling pin of adamant metal, and she used it with great zeal to beat her baked goods into submission.

Though teeth would still shatter against her scones, there was an artistry there that none could deny. So it was that more people would create adamant rolling pins, until an angry chef beat her rude husband to death with it, and the first true adamant mace was born.

After that, Moon Garou would still favour an adamant rolling pin, but many a warrior would bring a mace into battle, just in case they were forced to face up against the crone’s pastries. Which happened more often than is reasonably explainable.
