Baked, fried, mashed, there are few vegetables as versatile as the potato. Buried beneath the soil, these tubers absorb the nutrients around them, ready to be ripped from the soil and consumed.
Some mages noticed that you could pass certain magical currents through them, and one even attempted to enchant one and fashion it into blades. Suffice to say their plan was not successful, but it did create the very first chip, so was largely considered to be a good thing.
