The gyrfalcon is an agile predator. They silently dart through the air, seeking out small game to hunt. Giant rats are their favourite prey, though their flesh is stringy, they are comparatively large meals, compared to the kebbits and voles of the region.
Some Wild Knights would forge bonds with the falcons. They’re raise them from eggs and carefully train them to assist with scouting and hunting. This symbiotic relationship would allow both hunter and falcon to thrive in Ashenfall’s dangerous environment.
