New Class Pictomancer Revealed For Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail Expansion

New Class Pictomancer Known Information

During the Final Fantasy 14 Keynote, more information regarding the Dawntrail Expansion was revealed. One of the largest reveals outside of the Full Trailer itself, was the inclusion of a second new Class to join the Final Fantasy 14 universe. This class is the Pictomancer!

The new Class Pictomancer is set to be under the “Ranged Magic DPS” category. The class focuses on using the world as it’s canvas. The Pictomancer can bring forth imaginations into existence, landscapes, weapons and more. To support the fact that creating these images takes time for the Pictomancer, the class is also equipped with a decent about of instant cast spells.

Pictomancer works as a sort of caster in Final Fantasy 14. However, it doesn’t lean too heavily into DPS or Support as a role. But what it can do, is both very well!

Throughout the Trailer, the Pictomancer is shown enjoying themselves in the new capital of the Expansion – Tuliyollal. The overall vibe of the class is warm, friendly and full of color!

At level 80, the Pictomancer will be available for players to try in the Dawntrail Expansion! As a result, this makes the class playable from the beginning of the Expansion (a common trend but a good one nonetheless).
