We've just launched our WARDOGS section on Metaforge and we've created a bunch of cool tools that we've been using ourself and hopefully you will enjoy too!

You can craft Bone armor with the bones you get from burning the bodies of the cannibals. It is easier to craft than the Hide Armor, and it is more protective.
