Search Raider Caches: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To search Raider Caches effectively:
- Load into any map, we recommend a Hurricane modified Dam Battleground
- Follow our Interactive Map and route(s) to find cluster spawns on Raider Caches
- Each Raider Cache is 800 score when searched
- You can search an already looted Cache and earn score still
- 4 Raider Caches earns you the 3-star reward
- Bring plenty of Adrenaline Shots!
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level. Whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from looting Raider Caches. This can be done in both normal or event modifiers. However, the best bang for your buck for score and loot value is to Search Raider Caches during a Hurricane event. Each Raider Cache nets you 800 score. As a result, you’ll only need 4 caches for the 3-star reward.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many containers within the raids time limit as possible. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials and a good weapon for killing small ARC. We recommend bringing:
Anvil IV (Can be Anvil I but IV is preferred for the Fire Rate)- Any Augment
Light Shield- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5
Bandages - 40-80
Heavy Ammo - 10-15+ Adrenaline Shots
Can I use a Free Loadout to Search Raider Caches for the weekly Trials?
Absolutely, we recommend this option to use a Free Loadout for the weekly trial if you don’t want to put any gear at risk. You’ll be roaming the map searching for Raider Caches only, as a result, you do not need a full loadout to succeed. Your only issue may be the lack of Adrenaline Shots to move around the map quickly.
Map
This weekly trial we recommend completing on Dam Battlegrounds, preferably with the Hurricane Modifier enabled for maximum score. You can also go onto a Night Raid and look for normal Raider Caches. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
You’ll notice when you’re close to a Raider Cache in the Hurricane event by hearing a slight alarm sound the closer in proximity you are.
The BEST Route for Maximizing Score
There is no perfect preset route for this Trial. However, it is a relatively simple trial as you’ll only have to search the map for Raider Caches. With the Hurricane event, you get First Wave Raider Caches, which provide fantastic loot. Utilizing our map below, you can easily navigate and search for Caches. It’s important to note that the potential spawns are “clustered”. However, typically, only one Cache spawns within that cluster. As a result, keep an eye out just incase.
This is a rough path example you can take to search for Raider Caches as a solo player, you’ll easily get at least your 3,000 score for the 3-star, but also a decent score by the end. The objective is to try and spawn on the southern side of the map, follow the route to your liking, and use the Raider Hatch at the end of the route.
Party options (Duo/Trio)
The idea is still similar, however, you can split the map into three sections and individually search them.
Breaking the map up into these sections, each player has more than enough time to fully scout these locations and push for the highest score possible. You can easily earn 20,000-25,000 solo, and maybe even double that as a trio.
Fast 3-Star Rewards and Alternative Options
For a fast 3-star reward, you can head to any standard or event modified map and utilize the interactive map to grab your quick 3,000 score. You’ll only need to search and loot 4 Raider Caches to hit your target. Alternatively, you can use any of the above sections of the trios route during a Hurricane and quickly loot up and extract.
