How to Complete the Harvester in Arc Raiders

The Harvester is a high-value, high-risk activity that requires planning, precision, and ideally, teamwork, as it is protected by the Queen, electric and fire! The Harvester event currently spawns in on the ‘Dam’ Map. If you want to see the location, you can find it on our Interactive Dam Map.

Locate and Prepare for the Harvester Event

The Harvester is not a permanent fixture but an event that appears as an event on the map rotation, again you can see the event times at the top of any of our Arc Raider pages.

• Check the Map: Look for the “Harvester” event marked on the main map. The event typically runs for a couple of hours.
• The Queen: The Harvester facility is guarded by a world boss known as the Queen. You do not have to defeat the Queen to access the puzzle room. The most pragmatic approach is to wait until the Queen’s back is turned and she is patrolling away from the structure, then sneak past her. Keep an eye open for other ARC patrolling the area.
• Once the path is clear, approach one of the three identical entrances to the Harvester. You will need to interact with the breach door, which takes a short time to open.

How to Complete the Harvester Puzzle in Arc Raiders

Upon entering the room, you will notice the big pillar in the middle of the room and 3 elevators on each wall of the harvester. Once your inside you will need to locate 3 canisters and place them in the harvester, while avoiding being burnt after you are electrocuted.

Phase 1 – Canister Retrieval and Installation (The Power Cells)

The first phase involves powering up the three nodes.

1. Find the Canisters: You will automatically have one Power Cell Canister when you enter. The remaining two are located in hidden, breachable containers on the upper platform (the top floor) inside the room.
   • Jump onto the elevator to get up the top of the room and open the containers to retrieve the other two canisters.
2. Pre-Positioning: Once you have all three canisters you will need to place them next to their respective doors. This minimizes movement and maximizes your working time after the fire. Head outside and wait for the fire to complete… (While theoretically possible to do solo, having a team of three—one player assigned to each canister—makes this phase significantly easier and more likely to succeed in one 45-second window.)
3. Watch our for the Fire! Periodically the middle colum will light up yellow, indicating the room is going to fill with fire, at this point you need to run to the doors and get outside to avoid being set on fire.
4. Install: As soon as the fire has finished, head back inside, open the doors and then insert the canisters. I’ve circled the doors below where you need to insert them.

Phase 2 – Destroy the Yellow Buttons

Once all three canisters are placed securely, the second phase immediately begins.

• The Yellow Buttons: Yellow buttons will now pop out of the walls around the room. Your goal is to destroy all the yellow buttons while avoiding being shot by rocketeers from outside or burnt by the Harvester.
  Important: If you notice the yellow buttons retract back into the wall, thats a sign that the room will fill with fire and you should get out quickly.
• If you do not get the yellow buttons destroyed before the fire comes, you will need to insert the canisters back into their respective doors again to bring the yellow buttons back out.
• Electric: During this phase, the harvester will start setting off pulse charges, which can annoyingly disrupt your weapon reloads. Maintain focus and keep shooting!!! We actually found using our Melee weapon much more effective.
• Teamwork vs. Solo: In a team of three, it is recommended that everyone takes their own side to get them destroyed quickly. If you are attempting this solo, you will almost certainly need to exit the room, wait for the flame cycle to reset, and then re-enter to continue destroying the remaining buttons.

Collect Loot and Extract

With all the yellow buttons destroyed, you are at the end. Its time to collect your loot and get out of there…

1. Once the buttons are destroyed, 3 yellow loot canisters will appear from the centre column containing your reward. Rewards can include Legendary Blueprints!
2. Extraction Tip: If you are not on a free kit and have secured a valuable blueprint, make sure to immediately place the item in your safe pocket to ensure you keep it even if you are downed before successfully extracting.

The Harvester Puzzle is a fantastic piece of rotational content that rewards teamwork and careful timing, and the gear you receive for the effort is definitely worth the risk, be careful not to loose track of time or you will end up looking like Danneh….
