The Wolfpack is an explosive item that, when thrown, scatters into 12 homing missiles. These missiles automatically target nearby ARCs, exploding on impact to deal damage. It is particularly effective for dealing with larger ARCs and is considered a more powerful version of the Seeker Grenade.
Raiders craft this item at an Explosives Station after acquiring the Wolfpack Blueprint.
With the recent balancing updates (Trailblazer nerf against the big ARC), the Wolfpack has solidified its role as the premier tool for taking down Large ARC units. Its ability to bombard the big ARC with damage makes it a staple for high-tier PvE and a necessity for pushing Trial scores every week. While it no longer requires Sensors, the new recipe is more expensive, requiring a dedicated farm for refined ARC parts. This guide explains how to easily get Explosive Compound and ARC Motion Cores needed to craft Wolfpacks in ARC Raiders.
The Crafting Recipe for Wolfpacks in ARC Raiders (Feb 2026)
To craft a Wolfpack at your Explosives Station, you now require high-tier refined materials. The recipe has been updated to:
The Wolfpack Blueprint spawns in Residential Containers during Night Raids. The main strategy is targeting high-density residential areas during a Night Raid on maps like Dam Battlegrounds or Stella Montis.
Explosive Compound is a refined material. While it can drop from Industrial Zones and containers on various maps, the drop rate is quite low and the most reliable way to get 3 units is to craft them at Refiner Level 2.
Spawn at Loading Bay and run toward the Robotic Sandbox:
Scrap everything: Loot Polluted Air Filters (2 Oil) and Water Pumps (1 Oil) from green shipping containers.
The Motor Trick: Find the Motors at the bottom of the Loading Bay zipline. Important: Scrap the Motor inside the raid (salvage) to get 3 Oil. If you wait until you extract, the hideout recycling only gives you 2 Oil.
Crude Explosives: Farm the “Pop” units in the Hydroponic Domes (Dam) or recycle Pop Triggers. 1x Pop Trigger = 1x Crude Explosive. Or just farm Seeds and Chemicals in Stella Montis Seed Vault to buy and craft up Chemicals into Crude Explosives.
Getting ARC Motion Cores
Motion Cores are the new bottleneck for Wolfpack crafting. Here are some effective tips to get a bunch of them easily if you are willing to do some planning:
Prospecting Probes. Wait for the Prospecting Probes event – check Metaforge Event Timers to make sure you don’t miss it on the rotation. Listen for the distinct sound of probes on the map and breach every probe you find. There are so many of them active during this event that you can easily fill your entire inventory with ARC Motion Cores in a single run.
Solo Farm: ARC Surveyors. These are the large rolling balls found in the open plains of Blue Gate or Dam. They are the least dangerous “Big ARC” and have a high chance of dropping 1–2 cores.
Hunt Big ARC: If the event is down, target Bastions or Bombardiers. These heavy units are guaranteed sources for cores if you can handle the firepower.
The Alloy Shortcut: If you can’t find a big ARC, you can craft Motion Cores at your Refiner Level 2 using 8× ARC Alloy.
Easy Way to Get Rocketeer Drivers in ARC Raiders
Now that the updated Wolfpack Recipe requires 1 Rocketeer Driver, we need to figure out the best way to bring down rocketeers with a cheap loadout or find these drivers in the Rocketeer Husks (during Electromagnetic Storm Map Condition). Here’s our guide with some Tips on How to Find Rocketeer Drivers Easily.
Extra Tips to get Wolfpacks in ARC Raiders
The Electromagnetic Storm Method: During an Electromagnetic Storm, look for the glow of Fossilized Lightning on the ground where the lightning bolt just struck – the spawn is very rare, but it’s worth picking these up if you spot one. 1x Fossilized Lightning recycles into 3× Explosive Compound—exactly enough for one Wolfpack.
The Celeste Tax: Visit Celeste in Speranza every 24 hours. She sells 10x Oil for Assorted Seeds. A single “Seed Run” through the Stella Seed Vault can fund your Wolfpack production for that week.
